once again, we walked a lot. once more, our feet were devastated.
we had visited rome about a decade ago also during december, so we already knew what we want to see, where we want to go, what weather we can expect, what are the distances and what we want (and can) explore during the four days. rome... rome is so wonderful, so breathtaking and so truly monumental that every step completely worth it (while i must say, italian transportation/automotive/traffic usage skills facinates me too ;)

total respect goes to google maps with streetview for tremendous help in planning the trip.
