i've got my name in respect to robin gibb of the bee gees. i don't know why my parents were so much inspired with them in the time i came to birth, but heh, at least my name isn't common one in croatia.

music takes a big part of my mind and my life. i'm totally musical person. my dad have a huge collection of records and massive alluminium sanyo stereo with evenly huge speakers as was the record collection, so since a little kid i grew with albums of early rolling stones, spencer davis group, ccr, csn&y and similar. music was playing all the time. my thirst for music is endless and my taste is wide open in terms of genres, but quite narrow in terms of quality. I like to listen almost everything enough powerful, original and alternative from dark drum'n'bass to grindcore, with continous respect for early records of pink floyd or neil young, to name some.

I played bass in several Croatian noise bands: LiquidSpace, Mad Cow, Ferimport and played minor roles in a number of other bands and projects.

lately i'm into slow fuzz riffs with lots of sustained wroom and screamy voices coming from foggy haze - stoner/doom.
electric wizard, sons of otis and ufomammut are my favorite gods of the genre. furthermore, 'on funeral wings' by runemagick is masterpiece of doom/death, and that particular album i play a lot lately for its deadly atmosphere and excellent riffing.

"transistor type r081n" period

it was fertile period spanning through first few years of new millennium when I composed and produced a lot of weird electronic music as a solo project in my home studio. it's now old more than a decade.

album was mixture of electronic music, noise, funny rhythms, weird samples, multi-layered soundscapes, colors and textures. Songs are collected here under name "kockaste kugle" so feel free to click and listen. Interested parties can get album on compact disk by sending me an email.

all-time favs

Here I wanted to list albums which affected my life and influenced me a lot. Every one of them shaped my musical taste, playing style and aimed my composing ideas. These are the records I truly adore.

You can notice how those records belong to a rather short time span. The time of my youth. i know every chord and every tone of them. there are brilliant albums recorded later which I like the same, but they just wasn't there in that time. for example pantera's "vulgar display of power" (1992, atco) or ratm's first album (1992, Epic) are definite masterpieces and albums of my absolute worship, but they arrived just a minute late and so became just masterpieces thus not something that shaped my mind. interesting, because those two mentioned albums are bigger than some of those listed...
